Although not officially an upholstery velvet, it’s a little fine. It will work as it is Polyester. But it will not be hard wearing.

Washable - Can be washed (we suggest 40º) and ironed (not a hot iron!!)

It is a light-weight multi-purpose velvet/velveteen material with a very light weight feel to it, we know that it is popular for childrens costume (eg dance), because of its light weight feel.
This fabric is widely used for clothing, especially children's clothing and theatrical costumes.
